[生田花朝女]
菅楯彦と北野恒富の門人。本名、生田稔（みのり）。始め花朝と号し、のちに花朝女と号した。1889年、大阪市天王寺区上之宮町で生まれており、現在は生誕地の碑が建っている。父は国学者の生田南水。父に俳句、藤沢黄波に漢学、近藤尺天に国学を学ぶ。

1978年3月29日、大阪・帝塚山の自宅で死去。享年88。


[kacyoujyo Ikuta]
He was a follower of Tetsuhiko Suga and Tsunetomi Kitano. His real name was Minoru Ikuta. At first he called himself Hanacho, and later he called himself Hanachojo. Born in 1889 in Ueno-no-miya-cho, Tennoji Ward, Osaka City, a monument to his birthplace is now standing. His father was Ikuta Minamizu, a national scholar. He studied haiku for his father, Chinese studies for Fujisawa Kowa, and national studies for Kondo Shakuten.

He died on March 29, 1978, at his home in Mt. Tezuka, Osaka. He died at the age of 88.
